In cities and environmentally-sensitive areas the future belongs to emission-free driving. As a pioneer of electric mobility for vans – Mercedes-Benz developed its first electricity-powered van back in 1972 – the brand is putting a further demonstration of its innovative power on the streets: the Vito E-CELL.

Whether for inner-city delivery traffic, for driving through areas with strict access regulations, or for workplace transport on factory premises: with a range of around 80 miles (NEDC), a payload of approximately 775 kg and a powerful electric motor with plenty of pulling power, the Vito E-CELL is a fully-fledged van with a performance profile specifically tailored to the needs of the vehicle fleets of commercial and public enterprises with predominantly short-distance traffic – for example, parcel services, door-to-door deliveries, or for maintenance and service operations.

In arduous day-to-day operation the Vito E-CELL is characterised by the same reliability and practicability as the conventional Vito. And it features the same exemplary safety level – thanks to secure high-voltage technology and the innovative driving dynamics control system ESP® with the integrated RBS recuperative braking system.
