I started at Northside in 2016 for a University placement year. I joined a fresh and vibrant team striving to modernise and maximise the marketing department of Northside Truck & Van LTD.
With the marketing team we achieved all of our planned goals and ambitions while the management enabled and supported self-improvement and personal goals. Achieving the prestigious “Truck Marketing team of the year 2016”.
Completing my degree in 2018 I was headhunted by the company to return and from a temporary marketing executive, I re-joined as a group marketing executive to then become the data analyst for the company.
I am relied upon to create overall visibility and trackability on the company performance for directors, and the go-to project manager with Mercedes-Benz for marketing innovations. From 2018 till now we have pushed forward and we continuously aim to achieve and modernise the company for the future of commercial vehicle sales.
I started at Northside in March 2020 as a HR/Payroll administrator. 2 weeks into my new role I had to self-isolate for two weeks with my family as my son had COVID-19 symptoms. As you can probably imagine this was a very worrying time for me and my family but Cathrine allowed me to work from home. Despite only having two weeks training, this has been a very challenging time for me trying to pick up on new systems and processes but Cathrine and the rest of my team have been there to support me should I need it which I am especially grateful for.
I am thoroughly enjoying my role and getting to know the new systems and processes. I am also happy with implementing some changes along the way and learning tasks which I have never done before.

Started my working life with Northside 23 years ago (June 1997) as a parts apprentice, I worked at the Leeds depot for 10 years before been promoted to parts manager at Northside in Doncaster. I remained in Doncaster for three years. I was then selected to be the trade parts manager in Leeds (2010). I was heavily involved with the implementation of the centralised trade operation, taking responsibility for over 40 staff members. I was trade centre manager for 8.5 years, myself and the business decided that our field /key account customer focus required more attention, I grabbed the opportunity to work out on the field with our loyal customer base.
This is my journey through Northside, I must say that I love my new role in the business and look forward to the new challenges /changes ahead.
I started in July 2008 at Northside and it is the only place I have worked and felt truly settled and couldn’t ever imagine working anywhere else. I feel very proud to work for Northside and to be part of a great team and representing the Mercedes-Benz brand. So much of Northside’s success comes from staff training and development I have a lot to thank Northside for, I am where I am today because of Northside. We are a family run business and this shows, I feel like I have gained a second family working at Northside. Northside is an award-winning Mercedes-Benz truck & van dealership and it great to see how its developed over the years and continues to do so.
I joined Northside on the 2nd of January 2017, I came from Volvo so I had used admin experience, I joined due to not liking it where I was anymore and wanted a change of scenery. I absolutely love my job at Northside, I’ve never worked anywhere that feels more like a family who listen, and understand you as a person not a number. Northside have listen to my ideas about the used department and changes that I think need to be made & any training I asked for I received. It feels like a family run business that makes you feel appreciated.
I started in here in April 2018, Northside is a reliable dealer of Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles. It is a trusted name within the industry, and local companies recognise the name of Northside. I have been on several training courses in Milton Keynes to further my knowledge on the Mercedes-Benz products. This has afforded me my C-Sales certification. Northside are a dependable company and will always do their utmost to help the customer.
After working as a Telemarketing Executive for over a year at Northside, I loved the job but got itchy feet to work closer to home and a different challenge in a completely new sector. After leaving the company for 3 months I could not settle in to my new position and missed all my Northside friends, thankfully Northside enabled me to return where I left and it made me realise what a well-established friendly company I work for.
Telemarketing Executive - Doncaster
I started at Northside in March 2014 in a Telemarketing role. I have recently been promoted to go and work as a sales executive at the Leeds depot. This has come with some hard work along with some great training and encouragement from the whole of the marketing department, the entire of the Doncaster branch and everyone else who has helped along the way. I would like to especially thank my manager Tom Ward, for pushing me to progress and helping me to move forward in the company.
Now that I have been promoted I plan to work just as hard for the sales team to repay the faith they have shown in me and to thank Northside for putting me threw another training course which will enable me to keep on progressing in my career.
I was looking to relocate from Glasgow to South Yorkshire and applied for a position within Northside, After attending my interview for a specific job role within the company, I was then offered a different position which Northside created/ opened for me. Assistant Marketing Manager was my ideal job and I couldn't have been happier to have been offered this position.
Northside also assisted with my move down to South Yorkshire and everyone has made me feel very welcome.
I joined Northside in May 2009. After my failure with own business in 2011, I have been given second chance with Parts Department. Since my come back, I have learn so much about Aftersales operations.
My personal interest and passion to Mercedes brand makes Northside perfect place to be.
Staff approach and business core values makes me feel proud of being a part of this company. Continuous facilities and personnel investments create job security and bright future for me and my colleagues.

I have been with Northside for 20 years now and progressed through various positions to my current role.
