Comfortable working conditions.
Relief for the crew and a high level of safety for all road users: the eEconic continues the successful concept of the Econic with the DirectVision cab. The low entry and exit with just two steps saves energy in daily work and now the flat floor ensures convenient, safe through access for exiting away from traffic. The coated, heated Thermo control windscreen of the panoramic glazing prevents the windows from misting up – for a more clear view of the traffic.
Intuitive multimedia cockpit.
With the newly designed cockpit, the clearly structured command centre in the cab was developed further, and linked in, and it is now even simpler to use. The driver is constantly supplied with e-relevant information, for example the charge status
Outstanding safety concept.
The proven safety and assistance systems of the eEconic support the driver in tricky urban traffic and help to protect more vulnerable road users. A well thought-out safety system also protects the high voltage components in the event of an accident.
Integrated solution.
Mercedes-Benz will accompany you step by step on your way to eMobility: even before you purchase your battery-driven truck, we will support you with transparent assessment of whether your depots and routes are suitable for electrification. Which is the suitable charging infrastructure, what costs are linked to it, and what subsidies are possible? And in order for your green fleet to be cost-effective, we also offer you a suitable financing scheme and a warranty package to go with it. If desired, we can assist you with special eTrainings for fleet managers, drivers and workshop staff – so that your switch to future-oriented technology goes easily and smoothly.
Eco-friendly
Potent, quiet, efficient and sustainable, the Mercedes-Benz eEconic is fitted with a 536bhp electric motor which is powered by three high-capacity lithium-ion batteries. Upon a full charge, the vehicle is capable of travelling up to 93 miles, while producing zero CO2 and NOx emissions. Moreover, it takes little more than 75 minutes to achieve a 20 to 80% charge.
Crew-friendly
The new eEconic offers easy low-entry access, ensuring optimal safety and comfort for you and your fellow team members. It takes just two steps to enter or exit the walk-through cab – via a folding door on the kerb side, away from traffic. Shock-absorbing, full-air suspension facilitates the smoothest of travelling experiences, which means the eEconic is kind to backs and joints.
