Northside Truck & Van Ltd is a UK-based commercial vehicle dealer and repairer supplying Mercedes-Benz and MAXUS commercial vehicles and fleet services. We operate throughout the UK with multiple dealerships and service centres. Our supply chain includes manufacturers, suppliers, logistics providers, contractors and service providers. We expect suppliers and partners to comply with anti-slavery legislation and our Supplier Code of Conduct.
2. Policies on Slavery & Human Trafficking
Policies include Modern Slavery & Anti-Human Trafficking Policy, Code of Ethics, Supplier Code of Conduct, Equal Opportunities Policy, Anti-Bribery Policy, Whistleblowing Policy, Environmental Policy and Data Protection Policy.
3. Due Diligence Processes
We apply due diligence procedures including supplier onboarding, risk-based assessments, contractual controls, audits, monitoring and escalation processes.
4. Risk Assessment & Supply Chain Management
Risk areas include supply partners, logistics, contractors and indirect goods/services. Controls include supplier due diligence, contractual standards and ongoing monitoring.
5. Effectiveness & Performance Monitoring
Measures include policy compliance monitoring, supplier reviews, internal audits, KPI tracking, whistleblowing and annual reviews.
6. Training & Awareness
Training includes induction, role-specific training and annual review processes.
7. Equality, Human Rights & Employee Wellbeing
Northside promotes equality, fair labour practices and employee wellbeing.
8. Declaration and Sign-Off
This Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement has been prepared in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps Northside Truck & Van Ltd has taken to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within its business operations and supply chains.
Northside Truck & Van Ltd is committed to maintaining effective systems, controls and due diligence processes designed to identify, assess and manage risks relating to modern slavery, forced labour and unethical employment practices.
