Tiffin Sandwiches began the switch to Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans back in March 2016. We now have 11 LWB sprinters with another two on order. Some have racked up 30k miles already and have proved reliable and above all excellent on fuel. Having owned Fords we believed owning a Mercedes-Benz would be the more expensive proposition, but with the better fuel and servicing packages, they have worked out the same if not a tad cheaper.
So the misconception that Mercedes-Benz are expensive is not necessarily the case. The reliability and build quality has been fantastic on the sprinters, with tyre lasting over 30k and still not needing replacing anytime soon. Overall, when you look at the life cost of these vehicles, they are faring far better than any other vehicles we have owned in the past.
The other aspect is the service received from Northside. The staff are always friendly and polite and always bend over backwards to deliver to deadlines. I cannot emphasise enough at how pleased we are with the vehicles and service received from Northside Truck & Van Bradford.’

Excellent Support and Advice
Northside Trucks supplied our first vehicle in 2012, a long wheelbase Mercedes Sprinter for conversion to a 16 seat minibus and this order was repeated in 2013. We received excellent support and advice with these purchases and although any problems we have had with the vehicles have been minor, the service has always been very good.
Accordingly, when we required a van earlier this year for conversion to a Mobile Information Unit we naturally went to Northside Trucks - as our anticipated annual mileage is low, Northside was able to supply us with an 18-month-old, low mileage Sprinter which suited our requirements and budget. We are currently in the process of securing funding to replace a third minibus and will have no hesitation in asking Northside to supply this, hopefully later this year.

As a professional Mountain Bike rider, I spend a lot of time travelling to events both here in the UK and also throughout Europe. When looking for a van, I needed comfort, space and importantly economy. After looking at many vans, the choice was simple. A Mercedes Benz Vito Dualiner Sport 116 Long Wheel Base.

I began my journey with your company with Darren Doleman, when we first purchased our first new company van. Darren was an excellent key accounts manager from start to handover to Glyn Staley, who again turned out to be an excellent sales consultant. My experience throughout has been one of excellence.
I have also maintained my servicing through your most excellent staff, right through to the chaps in the workshop who also have been brilliant. But can I mention especially one gentleman, who has gained nothing from all his hard work, diligence and attentiveness, that being Simon Lonsdale. Simon was handed over from Glyn to take on our future van purchase and requirements. As we were not in a position to buy for at least 16 months or so, Simon did invest time showing me around different vans to measure up for new machines we were getting ready to distribute. He also made arrangements with me to get in touch later in the year to see what progress we were making within the company and he called me! In my experience, it is rare for people to follow up and do what they say they are going to do these days! And Simon did so, not only once but several times to continue with updates.

Courteous, Professional and Extremely Efficient
We run a large truck rental company and have dealings with many different dealerships of the major manufacturers. I had a breakdown on one of our rental vehicles on Monday 16th June in Rotherham, I telephoned Northside in an effort to resolve the problem and had the good fortune to get my call answered by Ella.She was courteous, professional and extremely efficient, the service I received from her was exceptional, she kept me constantly updated with developments and helped resolve the issue of there being no drivers available from the hirers of the vehicle to convey the vehicle to Sheffield.
I would ask that you make her aware of my heartfelt thanks, it is very easy to complain about service but not so easy to compliment outstanding service.

Nothing Was Too Much Trouble
We dealt with sales person Mr James Hart. From our first encounter with Mr Hart, we were put at ease. It was apparent that he was prepared to take the time to listen to our needs and offer advice when the occasion arose. Mr Hart was very polite in all aspects of our dealings and went out of his way to arrange for a variety of vehicles to be made available for my wife and me to inspect with no obligation to purchase.
This aspect I was very pleased to realise. After many discussions on the telephone and a few visits to Northside to view and test drive different vehicles our final decision was made.
The time that Mr Hart gave to my wife and I allowed us to acquire not only the vehicle we wanted but included all the refinements we needed as well. Nothing was too much trouble for Mr Hart or the staff at Northside. We were made very welcome and no corners were cut in our experience.

I have been meaning to drop you a line for some time now but never seemed to find the time to do it. You know what it is like in this job...
It is to offer my appreciation to Northside's after sales care. We find the service levels second to none. As an independent LCV dealer and rental company we deal with almost all manufacturers and local dealerships in the area but find Northside's service levels beyond reproach.
I would very much appreciate it if you would pass on my comments to both your parts team in Leeds and service department in Bradford.
All the parts team are always extremely helpful and efficient, excellent delivery service and parts availability, the service department in Bradford although we do not use too regularly, are very responsive indeed and go out of their way to help us.

Just a line to say how impressed I was with the attention I received, due to a problem with flaking paint on the roof, on my Dualiner. In particular James who dealt with it all. His customer service was 110%. The two girls on the front counter and the girl on the phones again excellent!!! I've spent nearly 50 years in retailing and know what customer service. They left me with a sense of worth! Excellent!
