Northside Truck & Van made the short journey from our Hull depot to the other side of the city on Friday night for our big night at Hull Kingston Rovers v Bradford Bull in the Super League.

As part of our evening, we had pre and post match entertainment provided and lounge access. But this wasn’t a night for us, this was a thank you to some of our customers and partners who came along to enjoy a night out on us. This included 90-year old Hull KR superfan Teresa, who was presented with a signed Hull KR branded gnome before the match.

Anyone who visited Sewell Group Craven Park on Friday 31st July would have no doubt seen our huge Actros L that was showing off its own matchday muscles at the main entrance. Not just that, for those enjoying Craven Streat, a Vito sat adorned with our flags, also absorbing the live music, party atmosphere and sights and smells of various food stalls.

Hull KR are reigning treble Champions, having finished top of the league in 2025, won the Super League Grand Final, and the Challenge Cup Final against Warrington Wolves at Wembley. So fans were optimistic going into their home tie with against Bradford Bulls and packed out the stadium.

Hull KR didn’t have it all their own way but came out on top with a 7-try 40-16 victory, including Joe Burgess’ 200th career try. We also got the honour of picking Player of the Match for the club, and we deservedly chose local lad Jez Litten, who helped drive the Robins forward and scoring a try of his own.

It puts Hull KR eight points off the top with seven games to play and fans will be hoping for a strong end to the season.

For more information on the Actros L that was on display, and appears in the video above, see our trucks section. For more on the Vito, visit the Vito page
