Northside have been working closely with a customer local to our Doncaster depot, international haulage company J P Walton & Son, who added two brand new Actros L Procabins to their fleet at the tail end of 2025.

Adam Watt and Emma Worley from J P Walton came to Northside to pick up the trucks, along with a couple of their drivers to get a feel for their new additions to their 40-strong fleet.

"The look of the vehicle is about the future." said Transport Manager Adam Watt. "The time was right, we had to do it for our consistency of change. The higher we can get our MPG and reliability is key for our business."

Their drivers got a full tour of the trucks as part of the handover with our Truck Sales Executive Phil Moorcroft, and were impressed by the comfort of the cab and the overall safety features, both of which are of high priority with Mercedes-Benz and Daimler Trucks. If they are unable to offer finance, we then seek to introduce you to someone else on our panel. We will usually receive a commission for your introduction. This will be either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you choose.

Mercedes-Benz Financial Services UK Ltd may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will tell you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receiving this commission. The exact amount of commission will be confirmed before you sign your finance agreement.
