Regional VMU Manager

We are looking for a VMU manager, based in and around West Yorkshire and further afield. The VMU Manager will be responsible for HGV technicians and support staff leading, motivating and supporting them to work to a high standard.

Main duties of the role include managing the workshop control operation, planning workload and resource and ensuring there is an efficient flow of authorised work. Building a strong relationship with the customer and their different requirements.

Additional tasks include ensuring the workshop works to legal and Company standards at all times, taking responsibility for the daily control of the workshop in order to maintain a high level of productivity and quality repair.

Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience gained in a similar managerial role within the HGV sector to be considered.

COSHH/IOSH experience of working in a management role would be handy. Get in touch if this sounds like it's you!

If they are unable to offer finance, we then seek to introduce you to someone else on our panel. We will usually receive a commission for your introduction. This will be either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you choose.

Daimler Truck Financial Services UK Ltd may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will tell you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receiving this commission. The exact amount of commission will be confirmed before you sign your finance agreement.
