Leeds Hospital Charity go green…and purple!
When Leeds Hospital Charity were looking for a new vehicle to collect donations for their charity shops, the fully-electric Mercedes-Benz eSprinter from Northside Truck & Van Limited ticked all their boxes.
The eSprinter, which was handed over by Bernard Richardson (Vehicle Handover Specialist, Northside) to Kelly Myers (Head of Retail, Leeds Hospital Charity) last week, is the latest fully-electric vehicle to join the fleet. Used for collecting larger, bulkier items which are being donated in Leeds and West Yorkshire and will be sold at the shops in the Merrion Centre and Crossgates.
All donations and purchases made in Leeds Hospitals Charity shops help to fund vital projects at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. Read more about this fantastic charity on their website here:https://www.leedshospitalscharity.org.uk.
In eye-catching purple, the green eSprinter is an L2 H2 panel van which offers both AC and DC fast-charging. All eSprinters come with free charging cable and currently attract a Government OZEV grant of up to £5,000.
